"The abstracts ranged from, 'damn, that's cool' to 'pretty darned neat' . The papers, themselves, ranged from 'pretty neat' to 'I'm not sure I buy your reasoning'. As for the talks, they ranged from 'I won't demand my money back' to 'Your death would not hurt science'."

Hey. I didn't miss a single talk the entire week, AND I closed the bar every night. This is what we call a "perfect performance".
