speaking of remote versus proximate risk...

The courts have finally caught up with the science on the (non-existant) link between vaccines and autism. Hooray science!

Now go vaccinate your rugrats.

i dont think anybody really knows what causes autism, and the definition of autism is a moving target.

but i always thought it absurd that a vaccine would cause it.

that said: i dont think anybody should be required to vaccinate their kid.
although you would be a moron not to do so.
its just a freedom issue to me.

Autism is nothing more than a replacement word for "weird kid." Unfortunately, bad science added to the name and made it "weird kid with diseases that we have cures for."
