larry flynt, please call your office...

"I can assure you that there is nothing in my life that will embarrass you if you decide to support me for president."

--TX Gov. Rick Perry, speaking to a group of evangelical voters last weekend.

If that doesn't sound like a challenge, I don't know what would.

he may be clean. BUT, this guarantees that even something remotely suspect is now a case of guilty til proven innocent.

drag a few franklins thru a trailor park, and you'll find somebody who's willing to claim something...
drag three frankies, and you got critical mass.

in politics, especially as hard as it is with TX and Chicago pols, it dont need to be true, only speakable.

True, but...there is a fairly consistent pattern of public piety being a cover for private impropriety. (Much easier to write than say.)

Perry may actually walk the walk...I honestly have no idea. But I would be neither displeased nor surprised to find out otherwise.

i'm giving him the benefit, that he does walk the walk, or he couldnt throw that challenge out there. nobody doubts it of romney, either.

perry aint stupid. he's proving himself to be quite the skilled politician. for his sake, i'm hoping he's not being stupid in this case either.
