Anyway, the answer is Wayne Root, who was the LP's VP nominee in 2008 and is currently a member of the Libertarian National Committee.

I dallied with the LP in my youth. A lot of brilliant but socially inept people. That's why the best bet for libertarians is to try to gain influence and, ultimately, take over one of the existing parties.
Now the trick is figuring out which one gives you a better chance at traction.
that is what the socialists did with the democrat party.
I know a few socialists who would find that hysterical.
