the dark knight

...is good. Really, really good.

If they give posthumous Oscars, Heath Ledger should certainly be considered. If you have a copy of The Killing Joke, read it before you go see the movie, and I think you'll see what I mean. That's the Joker Ledger plays:, nihilistic, terrifying, and brilliant. It's a damn shame we won't see that again.

But seriously...get a sitter for the young ones.

i most likely never will.

More's the pity for you, Gino--or, at least, considering this series of Batman films. You've saved yourself many eye-gouging moments in the Clooney / Kilmer series.

This team of director/producer/writers/casting director/acting/visualization team...just about unbeatable.

The curse of the dying-brightest stars landed on Ledger. Too bad. At least he left us material like this film to enjoy...

Matt enjoyed the Heath Ledger material in Brokeback Mountain better than the Joker stuff.

oh?
did you and matt and brian go together for that one?

Zing!

I really only need about 23-24 seconds of Brokeback viewing and then I don't need to watch any more of it. I get too sleepy and want cigarettes and to raid the fridge.
